A CHANCE TO REST

Fridays 3 - 4.30pm:
2nd July & 6th August

R E S T -  a small word but with great importance. I’ve always found taking rest hard, when I do have a quiet moment my natural tendency is to go and do something, usually revolving around looking at a screen - Facebook is the worst time waster! But that just keeps my brain busy and switched on. Does this sound familiar to you?


One positive from the last year is that thanks to Zoom I’ve been able to study with teachers I've followed for years. I've just completed a course about the importance of rest - I mean real physical rest not just the binge watching Netflix kind of rest (not that there's anything wrong with that - in moderation!). And I’d love to share my learnings with you.

I'd like to offer you a chance for some real, nourishing and refreshing rest. A chance to step back and switch off from the stressful times we are living in. The best bit is that it doesn't take much effort, or even space - just setting aside the time to do it.

The practice will last 1.5 hours, there will be some gentle movement and restorative yoga and then relaxation. Both classes will be recorded so you’ll be able to take part in your own time if you can’t make it live, or rewatch again.
